My Favourite African Saying: "Petit à petit l'oiseau fait son nid."

Happy New Year!

Three years ago, a video of impoverished children in a remote Ghanaian village ignited a fire within me. Witnessing their struggles resonated deeply, as I reflected on my own fortunate journey from humble beginnings to receiving a world-class education at a top university in Utah. I realized that access to quality education is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. Driven by this conviction, I joined forces with my mother, cousin, and a circle of incredible friends to establish the Dreamers Wish Foundation.

We set sail on a mission to empower the Mepe community, my mother's birthplace, by providing underprivileged children with the educational resources they desperately need. Today, we proudly support over 2,000 young dreamers, each brimming with ambition, tenacity, and a zest for life.

At the heart of our mission lies a commitment to STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). As highlighted on our website, www.dreamerswishfoundation.org, our impact has been profound. We've witnessed increased graduation rates, improved test scores, and a surge in students pursuing careers in STEM fields.

Our dedication extends beyond Ghana. We've successfully implemented similar programs in Kenya, fostering a love for learning and equipping students with the skills to thrive in the global economy. This success fuels our ambition to expand our reach across rural Africa, empowering countless more children and igniting a wave of positive change throughout the continent.

This year, we are embarking on an exciting new chapter: the construction of a state-of-the-art STEAM Center in the Volta Region of Ghana. This center will serve over 8,000 students across 7 schools in the district circuit, providing them with access to cutting-edge technology, hands-on learning experiences, and expert instruction.

We are also seeking passionate individuals to join us on a life-changing volunteer trip to Ghana! Experience the impact of our work firsthand by interacting with students, assisting with the construction of the STEAM Center, and immersing yourself in the vibrant Ghanaian culture.

Through our partnership with Bountiful Technologies, we are implementing a cutting-edge STEM curriculum that equips students with in-demand skills in areas such as coding, robotics, and digital literacy. This program, as outlined in our Memorandum of Understanding, will not only enhance their academic performance but also prepare them for successful careers in the 21st-century workforce.

Furthermore, Dreamers Wish Foundation is committed to providing our graduates with real-world opportunities. We are developing a network of virtual jobs and internships in collaboration with global companies, allowing students to gain valuable work experience while still in high school. This initiative will not only provide them with income but also equip them with the vocational skills and professional networks necessary for long-term career success.

We believe that by fostering a culture of innovation and providing access to both academic and professional opportunities, we can empower these young dreamers to become the next generation of global leaders, driving positive change within their communities and beyond.

Join us in our mission to STEAM Africa forward together! Your generous donations and volunteer support will directly impact the lives of these young dreamers and help build a brighter future for Africa. Visit our website at www.dreamerswishfoundation.org to learn more about how you can get involved, including signing up for our volunteer trips to Ghana.

As we usher in a new year, remember the power of your words. They can ignite joy and hope in the hearts of those you care about most. Cheers to a Joyful New Year.
